Sindo (Korean:신도), also known as Jinyeom, is an island off the cost of Incheon, South Korea. Sindo covers an area of 6.92 km². During the Joseon Dynasty, a huge horse ranch was constructed on Sindo to suit the army's need.
Sindo (North Korea) is a kun, or county, in North Pyongan province, North Korea. Most of the county consists of Pidansom, an island in the estuary of the Yalu River. Sindo was established as a separate county in 1991; previously, it had been part of Ryongchon, although it had enjoyed a brief existence as a separate county in 1967.
Sindo is a modern form of Indonesian silat which is a combination of practical self defence, combat martial art and the internal martial arts. Founded and lead by Kak Jimmy Thaibsyah who has trained in various martial arts since 1972.
