Definitions for "Sound Power Level"
The amplitude (or level) of sound output from a particular source, measured in decibels (dB). It can be used to predict the sound level at a given distance from the source.
The level, in dB, at which a source produces sound, usually given in octave bands.
A measure, in decibels, of the total acoustic power radiated by a given sound source. It is independent of any reference distance or other extraneous factors.
