The South River is one of the two main tributaries of the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. It begins south of Staunton, Virginia, and flows northward to the South Fork of the Shenandoah River, where it merges with the North and Middle Rivers.
The South River runs through Anne Arundel County in the U.S. state of Maryland. It is located south of the Severn River, east of the Patuxent River, and north of the West and Rhode rivers, and drains to Chesapeake Bay.
The South River is a 10.6 mile long (17.1 km) river in eastern New Hampshire and western Maine in the United States. It is a tributary of the Ossipee River, which flows east to the Saco River and ultimately the Atlantic Ocean.
