Any complex organic liquid or solid formed from simpler molecules by polymerization or condensation; any of various chemically modified natural resins.
A resin made through more complex laboratory or factory processes, usually from petroleum derivatives. Such plastics can be designed to suit many requirements (including esthetic ones). Examples used in penmaking include acrylic and ABS.
