(Tool Command Language, pronounced tickle): TCL is a simple scripting language for extending and controlling applications. Tcl can he embedded into C applications because its interpreter is implemented as a C library of procedures. Each application can extend the basic Tcl functions by creating new Tcl commands that are specific to a particular programming task.
