ToME is a very popular Angband variant believed to be perpetrated by DarkGod. Its homepage is at http://www.t-o-m-e.net/, it was formerly known as PernAngband. ToME stands for "Troubles of Middle Earth". Since ToME has so many features differing from Angband, it is sometimes discussed wheter it should be called a variant at all.
