A standard Windows control that allows a set of hierarchically-related objects to be displayed as an expandable outline.
The tree control is a hierarchical display of departments, topics, and subtopics. You can expand and collapse individual branches and select multiple items in the control. In the search context the results are limited to the selected items. When assigning questions to departments, topics, and subtopics the selection links the question to the selected choices.
A list control consisting of leafs items and parent items. A parent item can be expanded to show the items it contains or collapsed to hide its contents. The left half of Windows NT explorer is a list control as is the workspace window in MSDS.
