A standard format for OUTLINE FONTS which can be used on Windows or Macintosh computers. The TrueType format was developed by Apple Computer, Inc. TrueType fonts generally are less reliable than their POSTSCRIPT counterparts. TrueType fonts consist of only a single file; there are no separate OUTLINE FONTS.
