Undocumented Commands Test aiming at finding commands that may be executed by the object beyond the documented commands. Undocumented commands may be implemented for development and debugging purposes, or as a backdoor.
Unified Digital Campus
Universal Digital Carrier. Aka Digital Loop Carrier (DLC) - where two analog telephone lines are placed onto one digital copper pair. Used where a customer requests a second line, but no additional copper pairs are available. Central office routes the two lines to a UDC trunk which is then connected to the copper pair that carries the digital transmission to the customer's premises. UDC adapter is connected at the demarcation point, which converts the UDC transmission into 2 analog lines.
Universal Decimal Classification
The acronym for utility distribution company, an entity with its own distribution system for the delivery of energy to and from the ISO-controlled grid. The UDC provides regulated, retail service to eligible end-use customers who are not yet eligible for direct access, or who choose not to arrange services through another retailer.
