Definitions for "UDP/IP"
User Datagram Protocol. A connectionless protocol used primarily for broadcasting messages over a network.
The User Datagram Protocol (UDP) / Internet protocol. UDP allows programs on networked computers to send short messages known as datagrams to one another. UDP does not provide the reliability and ordering guarantees that TCP does; datagrams may arrive out of order or may not arrive at all. As a result, UDP is faster and more efficient for many lightweight or time-sensitive purposes.
User Datagram Protocol/Internet Protocol is a communications protocol that provides service when messages are exchanged between computers in a network that uses the Internet Protocol. It is an alternative to the Transmission Control Protocol.
