Definitions for "Unlatch"
To open or loose by lifting the latch; as, to unlatch a door.
A software term that is used in control logic. Since the system cannot watch every sensor at every moment, logical latches are used to report events to the computer. When a sensor sees paper move by, it latches the signal in the program. The operating program Snatches the signal after it has seen it. An unacknowledged Latch error occurs when a sensor latches a signal that it should not have.
