In Hinduism, Vivasvat (also Visvakarma or Vivasvan) is a solar deity and another name for Surya. He is married to Saranya (also called Sanjna), and father of the Asvins, Sanjana, Vaivasvata Manu, Revanta, Yama and Yami. He might have been the first "earthly King" in Arya (or Hindu) traditions possibly being the Emperor of Dravida and the father of King (and Rishi) Satyavrata who went on to be known as Manu and the Projenitor of all Aryas.
