Energy that balances and restores, natural and available to all living things. Emanations from the spiritual, the light of God.
Light containing equal amounts of the primary additive colors of light. The human eye sees this light as colorless.
light with a color temperature between 5000-6250 degrees Kevin, providing good color-rendering qualities
Theoretically, light that emits all wavelengths of the visible spectrum at uniform intensity. In reality, most light sources cannot achieve such perfection.
a mix of the red light (which has a long wave length) and the violet light
a mixture of various light waves with different wavelengths and thus different colors
(WL). Sunlight integrated over the visible portion of the spectrum (4000 - 7000 angstroms) so that all colors are blended to appear white to the eye.
This is the artificial construct that the human brain has developed to convey to its owner that the human eyes have detected an ensemble of photons, with a wavelength and intensity distribution approximately equal to the sun's continuum spectrum.
Illumination, such as sunlight, composed of all the colors of light in the visible spectrum. The visible spectrum components can be seen in a rainbow or in sunlight shining through a prism.
Light containing a balanced full spectrum of colours, so that it appears colourless.
Visible light that contains approximately equal proportions of all colors.
Electromagnetic radiation composed of all wavelengths of light that is visible to the naked eye (red through violet).
The entire spectrum of visible light.
Visible radiation that gives a sensation of whiteness. The effect is very subjective and depends very much upon conditions and contrast. Light from a lamp with filament temperature about 2000K may be regarded as white, but in contrast to a filament at 3000K it appears yellow. Sunlight normally appears white, but a small beam of sunlight entering a room lit mainly by filament lamps can appear blue-green. Yet the Sun is sometimes classified as a yellow star, in contrast to some stars with radiating surfaces at higher temperature. In all the above cases the effect is caused by a continuum over the whole visible spectrum. The sensation of whiteness can also be produced by suitable combinations of parts of the spectrum; for example, two complementary colors or three primary colors. [DC99
similar to structured light, a technique of projecting a light pattern at a known angle to a scene. See " structured light"
All frequencies of visible light come together to form white light.
Visible light that includes all colors and, therefore, all visible wavelengths.
Natural sunlight or light created by combining equal portions of each light wavelength from 400 to 700 nm. See spectrum; visible spectrum.

White Light is a work of science fiction by Rudy Rucker published in 1980 by Ace Books. It was written while Rucker was teaching mathematics at the University of Heidelberg from 1978 to 1980, at roughly the same time he was working on the non-fiction book Infinity and the Mind.
White Light is the second solo album by Gene Clark, former member of the Byrds. It received universal critical acclaim, upon its release, but only achieved commercial success in the Netherlands where rock critics also voted it album of the year. It is considered by many to be Clark's magnum opus, although, like all of his post Byrds' records, it did very poorly on the US charts.
"White Light" is an episode of the science fiction television series The 4400.
