(n) Often called a construction plane, a 2-D infinitely large plane that can be oriented anywhere in 3-D space. A workplane usually has an associated local coordinate system designated with unique letters (e.g., U, V, W). Workplanes are used to define 2-D geometry used in the development of 3-D models.
