Yaroslavl is a city in Russia, the administrative center of Yaroslavl Oblast, located 250 km north-east of Moscow at . The historical part of the city, a World Heritage Site, is located at the confluence of the Volga and the Kotorosl. As of the 2002 Census, it has a population of 613,088.
