An archival white glue that is stronger than gel medium. It mixes well with gloss medium. Transparent even after many coats and remains water soluble. Mixed with gel it becomes water resistant.
Poly Vinyl Acetate
a vinyl polymer used especially in paints or adhesives
Polyvinyl adhesive used extensively in non-craft bookbinding with the advantage that when it dries it remains flexible and malleable
Polyvinyl Acetate. A binder used in water-based paints. Same as vinyl acrylic.
A water based type of adhesive.
A colorless, thermoplastic, water soluble, resinous high polymer derived from the polymerization of vinyl acetate with a catalyst; used as a latex binder in certain, generally lower quality water-base coatings.
Poly Vinyl alcohol – a material resembling cling film which disslolves in water
Polyvinyl acetate. A highly transparent, water-insoluble resin belonging to the family of organic polymers, prepared by treating its monomer, vinyl acetate, with peroxide catalysts. PVA is used in the lamination process of PV modules.
A polymer commonly used in emulsion paints, made from polyvinyl acetate.
Polyvinyl acetate, a fast drying adhesive. Very long-lasting, transparent and flexible.
An emulsion of polyvinyl acetate in water used as an adhesive and to size or seal a surface. A milky viscous liquid, it dries to a clear, flexible plastic film.
An emulsion adhesive; a flexible adhesive that does not cross-link and is considered permanent. Results in a very strong bond. ecase Process of fitting the textblock with a new case when the original sewing thread of the textblock is unbroken and intact. ( LBI Standard, §6.4, p.6)
