National Wetland Inventory map

National Wetlands Inventory. A project of the USFWS to map all of the wetlands in the U.S. at a scale of 1:12,000. A common and available GIS vector layer.

National Wilderness Inventory. The NWI is an environmental database and set of modelling procedures which are designed to assist in the planning and management of remote and natural lands in Australia.

National Wetlands Inventory. This U.S. EPA program is classifying and mapping all wetlands in the U.S. from aerial photographs. The information is being entered into three database systems that will comprise the NWI Geographic Information System and will allow computer access to the data. The NWI also prepares wetland trend studies and special reports to Congress.
