Main coffee area is the far western region nearest the Costa Rican border. All coffees are grown at high altitude, the best being grown at 4,500 feet and above. They are graded as Hard Bean, and Strictly Hard Bean for those coffees grown at altitude between 4,500 and 6,000 feet.
