A method in which tufted carpet is dyed, as opposed to yarn dye methods in which color is added to yarn before tufting. (See " Dye methods.")

This refers to fabric dyed in bulk. Body fabric and collar/cuffs are dyed together at the same time to ensure a 100% color match.

Fabrics that are dyed after they have been woven or knitted.

The whole fabric is colored after it is weaved.

This term is used when the knitted cloth is dyed, prior to being assembled into a finished product.
