Printed Wiring Assibly. When electronic components have been mounted on the PWB, the combination of PWB and components is called a printed wiring assibly. This assibly is the basic building block for all larger electronic systis, from toys to toasters to telecommunications.
Printed Wiring Board. The substrate, generally epoxy glass, used to provide component attachment lands and interconnections to form a functioning electronic circuit (also called a PCB or printed circuit board).
Printed wire assembly. A completed circuit board with components installed. (Same as PCB)
