A theme is a particular arrangement and configuration of LiteStep and its modules. Themes consist of all the graphics, modules, and configuration files necessary to make LiteStep look and behave a certain way. LiteStep themes can be compared to the concept of Microsoft Plus! Themes, although LiteStep themes are much more advanced in terms of appearance and flexibility.

a set sequence of story actions that structure the tale
a unifying concept that gives the book a distinct look
a unifying motif or "message" of a story
in literature refers to an abstract concept made concrete through representation in fiction, poetry, or drama.
This is the soul of the story. It is the underlying premise the writer is trying to give to the reader such as love, honor, or truth. It gives meaning to your story. (See Step 6)
A concept or teaching which a work is designed to emphasize and make persuasive to the reader.
A concept or ideal meaning implied within the story so as to give the viewer an explanation of the intended message. The theme may or may not always be apparent. There are also sub themes that may be injected as support for the main meaning of the story.
