Small Business Development Centers are are located throughout the United States and are administered by the SBA. They provide management assistance to entrepreneurs and new business owners.

SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTERS. The SBDC is a university-based center for the delivery of joint government, academic, and private sector services for the benefit of small business and the national welfare. It is committed to the development and productivity of business and the economy in specific geographical regions.

Small Business Development Centers. Throughout Missouri SBDC is funded by the Small Business Administration to provide training and technical assistance to small business. University Extension has an annual commitment to provide individual counseling and group training events. Centers are located at Central Missouri State University, Rockhurst College, University of Missouri-Columbia, Southeast Missouri State University, Mineral Area College, Three Rivers Community College, Missouri Southern State College, Northeast Missouri State University, Northwest Missouri State University, Southwest Missouri State University, University of Missouri-Rolla and St Louis University.
