The Messiah or The Anointed One

(Messiah) Leader of the Jewish People, from the lineage of King David, who will gather the exiled, build the third holy temple, and teach Torah to the Jewish People. Jews await his coming daily.

Messiah. He will unite the world, such that there will no longer be hunger nor war...

Lit. anointed. A man who will be chosen by G-d to put an end to all evil in the world, rebuild the Temple, bring the exiles back to Israel and usher in the world to come. Generally translated as "messiah," but the Jewish concept is very different from the Christian one.
