As in everything else fucked, trolling has regressed towards the mean. Some of FC’s legendary trolls – The Woman Who Looks Like Seven of Nine – were so out there and original that their threads spanned days. Trolling now is like crossing a NYC street: assume a car is bearing down on you and check twice.

Posting an article that is facetious, silly, sarcastic or otherwise not serious. Its purpose is to draw follow-ups that will make those who respond look foolish.
