deep and audible "drawing breath" exercise
A type of pranayama in which the lungs are fully expanded and the chest is puffed out.
Victorious breath. Inhalation and exhalation are regulated through the nose and a deep swirling occurs at the back of the throat, creating a soothing sound, like that of the ocean.
lit. "victorious." One of the eight types of breath control, or pranayama, used in hatha yoga; the process of filling up the lungs so they are fully expanded.
Breathing exercise that produces sound in the throat with the inhalation. Pronounced you-jie-ah.
