The Killers are an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. It was formed in 2002 and is made up of Brandon Flowers (vocals, keyboards), Dave Keuning (guitar, vocals), Mark Stoermer (bass guitar, vocals), Ronnie Vannucci Jr., (drums, percussion). The Killers released their debut album, Hot Fuss, in 2004.

The Killers is a film noir directed by Robert Siodmak and starring Burt Lancaster, in his screen debut, and Ava Gardner. The film is based on the Ernest Hemingway story of the same name. According Hemingway's biographer, Carlos Baker, The Killers "was the first film from any of his works that Ernest could genuinely admire."

The Killers (in America) (aka Ubiitsy) is a Soviet film made in 1958 by Russian director Andrei Tarkovsky. It is based on the well known short story by Ernest Hemingway, written in 1927. It was Tarkovsky's first film, as well as the first of three shorts he made while a student at the Soviet film school VGIK.
