Michael Kelly (March 17, 1957 – April 3, 2003) was an editor-at-large of the Atlantic Monthly and a columnist for the Washington Post. He died in 2003 covering the invasion of Iraq.

Michael Kelly is a Scottish politician and businessman. He held the position of Lord Provost of Glasgow from 1980 to 1984, and was Lord Rector of Glasgow University from 1983 to 1987. As Lord Provost, he was instrumental in the city's adoption of the Glasgow's Miles Better campaign and slogan, which is credited with an important role in Glasgow's cultural renaissance during the 1980s.

Michael Joseph Kelly FRS (born 14 May 1949) is a New Zealand-British physicist. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1993 and won its Hughes Medal in 2006.
