designated shelf controller. The RP or RP pair that controls a router or a line card chassis. The DSC is selected from among the route processors (RPs) installed in the router or line card chassis.
Designated shelf controller. The physical shelf controller that serves the entire Cisco CRS-1 Series routing system as the designated "master" SC. The dSC is selected from among the Route Processors (RPs) installed in the line card chassis.
Datalogging and Supervisory Control.
The abbreviation for Direct Servo Control. A DSC harness is connected between the transmitter and receiver and can be used to adjust system components such as servos, linkages and the ESC without transmitting a radio signal.

Direct Servo Control. This radio feature permits you to check servo operation without broadcasting a radio signal. A cable connects the transmitter to the receiver. Direct servo control is very useful for on-the-ground control checks.
Direct Servo Control - provision found on more expensive receivers for a lead directly linking the receiver to the transmitter enabling all receiver functions to be exercised without the transmitter being switched on.
Direct Servo Controller. Allows full function of an aircraft's servos via an umbilical cord. This permits adjustment of radio functions without switching on the RF portion of a transmitter.
