To run away, as from danger or evil; to avoid in an alarmed or cowardly manner; to hasten off; -- usually with from. This is sometimes omitted, making the verb transitive.
Run away from battle. When you do this, you lose experience.

A Combat Outcome that involves movement to the rear in two stages. In the first stage, the fleeing element recoils one base width. Then the fleeing element turns and moves with its back to the enemy for the remaining flee distance.
