a coded number registered with digimarc that is added to your image
a ghostly image of a name or symbol added to an existing image which usually identifies the owner, and makes it clear when an image is being used without permission
a 'layer' that you can put on top of your images
a lightened area, as if someone had poured water onto it
a pattern of bits inserted into a digital image,
a predetermined image including letters and/or characters formed over an original image on a recording sheet
a semi transparent text which is applied automatically onto your images when they are viewed by visitors and photo buyers
You can add copyright information to Photoshop images by including a digital code added as noise to the image file. This digital watermark isn't visible and does not affect image integrity.
Bits altered within an image to create a pattern that indicates proof of ownership. Unauthorized use of a watermarked image can then be traced.
