As subject specialists, reference librarians generally have other graduate degrees as well. They are available at the Reference desks to help people find the information they are looking for.
Reference librarians are available in each of the Libraries to help when you have questions about Libraries services or resources, or when you would like assistance with your research. Look for Ask Us on the web site to learn more about our instant messaging/chat, email, in-person, and phone reference services. Or you can make an appointment with the reference librarian who is the subject specialist in your area of research.
LRC Reference staff perform literature searches, conduct database search training, provide interlibrary loan service, and answer research questions for LRC-authorized patrons. Reference Services are available from 7:00 to 17:00 Monday through Friday. Requests at other times can be submitted through email to ref@lrcm.usuhs.mil and will be attended to the next business day.
