Cold Crank Amperes. The ampere output of the batteries measured at 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
A rating that indicates the amount of power that a battery can provide for engine cranking in cold-start conditions.
Cold cranking amperes. The number of amps available to start an engine when the ambient temperature is cold. Used for rating SLI battery capacity.
Cold Cranking Amps. The amount of current (amps) a battery at 0 degrees Fahrenheit can deliver for 30 seconds and maintain at least 1.2 volts per cell. (7.2 volts for a 12 volt battery)
Cold Cranking Amps. A rating, measured in amperes. Used for comparing cranking strength of automotive batteries during extremely cold (0 F or lower) weather.
