Multiple Dwelling Unit. Media Access Control See MAC. message A sequence of adjacent data packets transferred in a given direction. The end of such a message is defined to be the transfer on one or more adjacent data packets in the other direction. Message Jitter Starts with the abstraction of a communicated message.
