CFM. An airflow measurement of volume. ( 099)
(HVAC) A rating that expresses the amount of air a blower or fan can move. The volume of air (measured in cubic feet) that can pass through an opening in one minute.
Air or gas at flow meter pressure and temperature.
(CFM): A rating that indicates the amount of air a fan, blower or compressor can move.
A measure of the volume of a substance flowing through air within a fixed period of time. Indoors, it is the amount of air measured in cubic feet that is delivered and exchanged in one minute.
Stands for Cubic Feet per Minute. A measurement of airflow that indicates how many cubic feet of air pass by a stationary point in one minute. The higher the number, the more air is being forced through the system.
A measure of the volume of a substance flowing through air within a fixed period of time. With regard to indoor air, refers to the amount of air, in cubic feet, that is exchanged with outdoor air in a minute's time; i.e. the air exchange rate.
Volumetric air flow rate.
CFM): A measure of flow rate.
Unit of measurement for the movement of a volume of gas (cfm) or liquid per unit of time
Cubic feet per minute (CFM) is a non-SI unit of measurement of gasflow (most often airflow) that indicates how many cubic feet of gas (most often air) pass by a stationary point in one minute. In other words, it is a unit for measuring the rate of flow of a gas or air volume into or out of a space.
