Ultraviolet radiation-B (Besta) range
Ultraviolet light from the Sun with a wavelength between 290-320 nm. Ozone absorbs most UV-B light before it reaches the surface of the Earth.
Wavelength 290 and = 315 nm.
the type of UV radiation which causes most of the damage to plants and animals
Ultraviolet radiation in the wavelength band of 0.29–0.32 μm; a component of the spectrum of solar radiation that can cause sunburn and skin cancer. This band is only partially blocked by the atmospheric ozone layer.
