Peripheral Vascular Disease. Damage to or blockage in the veins that carry blood from your arms and legs back to your heart
peripheral vascular disease: progressive clogging of the arteries.
Peripheral vascular disease. An abnormal condition that affects the blood vessels outside the heart. Often occurs as a result of decreased blood flow and narrowing of the arteries from atherosclerosis, to the hands and feet. People who have had diabetes for a long time may develop PVD.
Peripheral Vascular Disease. Atherosclerotic disease of arteries (also known as hardening of the arteries)which supply blood to the extremities.
Peripheral Vascular Disease. Reduced blood supply to the feet.
Peripheral vascular disease. Vascular disease that affects the blood vessels of the extremities.
Peripheral Vascular Disease. A condition that reduces blood flow to the legs, causing the muscles to cramp during activity. PVD is most likely caused by atherosclerosis injury or clotting in the lower extremities.
Peripheral vascular disease. any abnormal condition that affects the blood vessels outside the heart and lymphatic vessels. Often occurs as decreased blood flow to the hands and feet. People who have had diabetes for a long time may develop PVD.
Peripheral vascular disease. Disease in the large blood vessels of the arms, legs, and feet. The signs of PVD are aching pains in the arms, legs, and feet and foot sores that heal slowly.
peripheral vascular disease. Arteriosclerosis in arteries of the arms or legs, which become narrow from the build up of plaque and eventually may cause severe symptoms. The most common form is disease in large vessels supplying the legs, which causes severe pain on walking and may in time make a patient immobile. PVD is sometimes called peripheral artery disease (PAD).
Peripheral Vascular Disease. A type of CVD caused by atherosclerosis of the arteries to the limbs, reducing the blood supply and therefore depriving the limb muscles of oxygen.
