that portion of the light spectrum beyond violet.
ultraviolet (UV) light.
Ultraviolet Light has very short wavelengths and is just beyond the violet end of the visible spectrum. It is used to expose patterns on the layers of the microprocessor in a process much like photography.
a good idea, too, and will add some more brightness to the enclosure (the lizards need very much light)
Radiation present in sunlight, fluorescent light, and to some degree incandescent light. UV light degrades photographs, papers, plastics, adhesives, fabrics and colorants. Special filtering material can be placed over fluorescent tubes, on windows, or in frames to reduce the harm that can be caused by UV radiation.
Ultraviolet light, wavelengths of visible light, used to detect urine deposits in carpet, etc.
A type of invisible, high frequency light. Some gems glow when illuminated with UV light. Sometimes called black light.
Light found between the end of the visible light spectrum (violet, 400 nm wavelength) and the beginning of the X-ray spectrum (100 nm wavelength). Common sources include solar rays and fluorescent black lights.
