A group of monsters that either patrol in a dungeon or that follows a traveler that has ran away.
Gaming term. A group of aggressive enemies that is pursuing a fleeing player character.
A powerful bot which, when engaged, will pursue a character until either the player or bot are killed.
1. The act of training in a specific skill to progress your character. 2. To run away from a fight with multiple enemies following you, thus making a train of monsters. It's considered very bad manners to train over another group who is fighting their own pull. The risk of an Area Effect spell hitting your train and transferring agro to them is high.
a group of mobs that are agroing a player
The act of aggravating too many monsters and then running into the path of other players hoping they will get attacked also.
When a player is followed by a large number of mobs while fleeing, often causing the mobs to attack innocent players. Usually happens by accident, but can be done intentionally. This is considered griefing.
A string of monsters following a PC. This occurs when a PC flees from a group of agro monsters. - To sic a train on another PC, by getting a train on oneself and either zoning or becoming invisible/hidden when near the other PC, such that the train then attacks the other PC. This is considered harassment, and is an offense akin to kill stealing.
term used when many monsters are chasing a player who is trying to run away
A flock of angry mobs chasing some poor character to the zone border. The group of monsters picks up others along the way until an entire line of them is chasing the poor sap. The "trainer" may or may not warn his unsuspecting fellow players (the "trainees") at the zone border of the oncoming slaughter via a /shout (don't bet your life on it). Some zones in the game are so frequented by trains that most of the mobs are permanently at the border making the depths of the dungeons often the safest places to be for some peace and quiet. See Unrest, Mistmoore, Caiz Thule, Runnyeye, Crushbone, Befallen, Guk, Najena, Solusek, Permafrost, Blackburrow.
To lead monsters into another player. This is not a desired behavior.
A group or team that chases a single fleeing character.
