Disability means, with respect to an individual: (from Section 3 of the Americans with Disabilities Act, 1990) (a) a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of such individual; (b) a record of such an impairment; or (c) being regarded as having such an impairment.

Any person who (1) has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of his or her major life activities, (2) has a record of such impairment, or (3) is regarded as having such an impairment. A disability is "substantially limiting" if it is likely to cause difficulty in securing, retaining, or advancing in employment.

A person who has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the person's major life activities, has a record of such impairment, or who is regarded as having such an impairment.

Any individual who is considered to have a functional limitation in major life activities in which assistive technology devices or services would enable the individual to maintain or achieve a greater level of functioning.

This term refers to any person who: (1) has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities (i.e., caring for one's self, performing manual tasks, walking, seeing, hearing, speaking, breathing, learning and working); (2) has a record of such an impairment (has a history of, or has been misclassified as having, a mental or physical impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities); or (3) is regarded as having such an impairment.
