To avoid misleading labeling of the "dolphin-friendly" type, SCA favors specific product declarations, which are accurate, informative and clearly state their objective (Type 3 EPD). Also see Eco-labeling. As a principle, SCA is opposed to eco-labeling for packaging, as it could result in confusion with the product being packed.
