See Master Fund
A mutual unit fund which invests only in the shares of other mutual/unit trust funds.
A feeder fund invests directly into an existing fund, typically established elsewhere. In theory, this allows economies of scale and access to a skilful overseas manager. Used frequently in Singapore by foreign fund managers, such as Templeton, Morley and Schroders.
A relevant pension scheme dedicated to a single regulated collective investment scheme or to a single eligible investment trust.
A fund that conducts virtually all of its investing through another fund (called the master fund).
