Acronym The Training and Development Agency for Schools - Formerly the TTA, the TDA is an executive non departmental public body of the DfES. It is responsible for the training and development of the whole school workforce and, from 2006, for workforce remodelling.

Transportation Development Act (California)

Transportation Development Act - State legislation that controls the disbursement of STA (see p. 13), LTF (see p. 8) and several other transportation related funds including much of the PTA (see p. 11) funds. Generally, in conversation "TDA" means just the LTF monies, although the STA funds are often included.

The purpose of the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) is to raise standards by attracting able and committed people to teaching and by improving the quality of training for teachers and the wider school workforce.
