Calgary is the largest city in the province of Alberta, Canada. It is located in the south of the province, in a region of foothills and high plains, approximately 80 km east of the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies. Calgary is the third largest civic municipality, by population, in Canada.

Calgary was a federal electoral district in Alberta, Canada that was represented in the Canadian House of Commons from 1904 to 1917. It was located initially in the Northwest Territories. Following the creation of the province of Alberta in 1905, the riding was located in that province.

Calgary was a provincial electoral district in Alberta, Canada that existed from 1905 to 1913 and 1921 to 1959, to elect members to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. The district significantly grew over the years with the ever expanding city boundaries. The riding started out as a small one member district, and ended up a six man super riding, before its breakup in 1959.
