King were preceded by an early incarnation of the band named "The Reluctant Stereotypes" who released an album and three singles in the early 1980's off the back of Coventry's vibrant ska scene. The band released two albums on CBS both produced and mixed by Richard James Burgess.
King was an album released by Belly in 1995, two years after their previous album, Star.
