Network adalah jaringan komunikasi data yang melibatkan satu atau beberapa sistem komputer yang dihubungkan dengan jalur transmisi membentuk satu sistem. Dengan network, komputer yang satu dapat menggunakan data di komputer yang lain. Dapat mencetak laporan dari printer komputer lain, dapat memberi berita ke komputer lain walaupun berlainan area. Network merupakan cara yang sangat berguna untuk mengintegrasikan sistem informasi dan menyalurkan informasi dari satu area ke area yang lain.
