An independent jointstock company run on private enterprise lines and based in Geneva, skyguide is responsible for managing and monitoring air traffic in the civil and military airspace above Switzerland and in the foreign airspace assigned to it. Skyguide also manages air traffic at the Zurich, Geneva, Bern and Lugano airports, as well as at certain military aerodromes.
