Definitions for ".25-35 Winchester"
The .25-35 Winchester, or WCF (Winchester Center Fire) was introduced in 1895 for the Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle. Though significantly more powerful than the .25-20 Winchester, the .25-35 WCF should not be considered a good choice for hunting anything larger than small predators (coyotes, bob cats, etc.). No production rifles have been made in .25-35 WCF since the 1940's.
