Definitions for ".mail"
The Spamhaus Project, but unapproved by ICANN. It would attempt to reduce the spam problem by creating addresses which have been authenticated as not belonging to spammers, and with verified contact information, paralleling the actual addresses (in other TLDs) of servers used to send mail. A .mail domain would only be able to be registered by somebody who already owns a domain in another TLD which has been in operation for at least six months, and whose WHOIS information has been verified for accuracy.
