Dichlorobenzene, or ortho-dichlorobenzene, is an organic compound used primarily as a high-boiling solvent. It is a benzene derivative with two chlorine atoms substituted at adjacent positions. It is a colorless liquid that is insoluble in water, but is miscible with ethanol, diethyl ether and benzene.
