Dimethoxybenzene is the para form of dimethoxybenzene, a volatile aromatic ether with a sweet floral odor. It occurs naturally in willow (Salix) and Zuchini (Cucurbita pepo). It appears to attract bees as it has a powerful response in their antenna.
